So quick background story for this. I was watching some in progress gameplay for DmC (The new Devil May Cry game) and I left this comment since pretty much EVERY comment was complaining about Dante’s slightly altered design.
“People REALLY need to shut the hell up. The gameplay looks fucking amazing, stop your bitching about his new look, be happy they’re CONTINUING this amazing game series, AND PLAY THE DAMN GAME.
In the end of ANY game series, it’s all about the entertaining game play. If you were just playing it for Dante’s design, you don’t know how to enjoy a good game.

Dante’s design takes the cake and that is what set him apart from the rest of the hack and slash games that was coming out, including the music and the well developed gameplay that this DmC won’t replicate at all. Second, its not the same devs working on it hence its a totally different game and a regression to how the previous 4 progressed. Finally, the writing on the wall from NT indicates this WON’T be a good game of the DMC series.

Kay…so you read the comments…now please ….PLEASE do explain what made me so stupid? Like REALLY? Is that person stupid? First off…I REALLY don’t think a characters design is what makes a game great. Sure. It does HELP, but it really ISN’T what made the game fun for you. Right? Cause I thought it was the GAMEPLAY. Besides. If you REALLY think about…the story lines to each Devil May Cry is kinda weak, anyway. It’s REALLY just the gameplay in the end.
I like his new design anyway.
Referring to the music and such…so…maybe a little change of pace is EXACTLY what this game needs to make it keep going. Besides…I like the music. And from what I saw from the little teaser video of gameplay…it looked pretty freaking sweet. (I even saw a little bit of his old moves again. ;D)
Also, I never said anything about the creators. So why are you correcting me on that? Like I said in my response to that person’s comment, I KNOW it’s by different people.
By the way, idiot, I heard a lot of people didn’t like the 4th DMC much ANYWAY. So maybe some of the changes they made to this new game, is just what the series needed to keep it going. (And yeah. I know I said something similar not too long ago. But really.)
Oh…and I have NO idea what you’re referring to with the NT writing…stuff. So why even mention it?
