Behold, I am a dork. This is my playing Bloody Palace on DmC. Sometimes I do well, other times I suck. But anyway, mostly just practicing different combos and stuff. Enjoy. I guess.

I tend to get pretty pissed if I get hit. AT ALL.

Every time I stand in line at a food place, and stare at my phone for Tumblr, I bet people think I’m super popular or something. And that my friends are hilarious. Little do they know, I probably just giggled at some gay porn.

The SECOND Warm Bodies hits a dollar theater, I’m going to go see it ALL THE FREAKING TIME. THE FIRST TIME WAS GREAT AND NOW I MUST WATCH IT EVERY DAY. I LOVED IT.

I am not a hypocrite…

Some people would call me a hypocrite for loving the new Dante and DmC, but seriously hating Skylanders and the new Spyro for it.

Okay, here’s a few things I have to say.

Devil May Cry:

DmC is only the first reboot of the series. That’s acceptable to me. They kept the very basics of what made that game fun, they changed things, yes, but they kept the same kind of feel to it. It still felt like a Devil May Cry game as you played it, that’s good. Also, “New Dante” doesn’t look too different from the original Dante.

As shown:

(Yes, I’m going to use the white haired version, so people can see the similarities better without freaking out over the hair color…)

All in all, they have very similar faces, and such. So hey, that’s fine.

Anyway, that game is fine to have a reboot, because DmC is the first reboot for it. So it’s not being abused, it’s just being freshened up. No biggie.

Spyro:

Now, here’s the thing with Spyro. There are five games that follow the original storyline: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro Ripto’s Rage, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, and Spyro: A Hero’s tale. (Honestly, I’ve never played that one…)

(As far as I know, he looks the same in the DS games, and it’s the same storyline)

Spyro looks like this in those games:

With a very minor change in the way he looks in the ps2 game Enter the Dragonfly (the 4th one):

Then there is Spyro: A Heroes Tail (The fifth, apparently)

image

(Okay, he’s beginning to look a bit dorky, what is wrong with his feet and nose?)

….

Then, we get into the rebooted version of Spyro. Which, honestly, I find to be very fun still.

There are three for this series: The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, and The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.

Here is what he looks like in these:

(So his face is kind of freaking me out with his freaky eyes, but hey, at least they fixed the nose…)

Dawn of the Dragon:

He’s simply getting older looking, and hey! They fixed his creepy eyes…mostly.

So hey, they rebooted the series, that’s cool, they’re fun games, maybe taken a little too seriously, but very fun nonetheless! And I mean, come on, Dawn of the Dragon was literally the Spyro game I had dreamed of as a kid: You could fly the whole time, and Spyro had a girlfriend. That’s pretty sweet.

The biggest problems I had with this rebooted version of Spyro was 1) the voices. I’m sorry, but I really didn’t like the sound of Elijah Wood’s voice for Spyro, it just didn’t work for me. 2) Spyro was no longer the cocky little dragon he was.

He used to have an attitude. All he wanted to do was “toast the gnorks”. In short all original Spyro wanted to do was “Fuck shit up…” And come on, that’s what we loved about him.

But the rebooted version of Spyro wasn’t like that. He was a peacemaker, he didn’t want to fight, he just wanted peace. That wasn’t what original Spyro was like, had they have made him brattier and such, it would have been much, much better. That’s honestly the only big issue I had with it.

Then comes the Skylander’s series. Now, the reason this bothers me, is because they even bothered to call it Skylander’s: Spyro’s Adventure, when THIS is the thing they call Spyro…

How in the HECK, is this little toadface’d abomination Spyro?

At least the first rebooted designs still actually LOOKED like Spyro. The only things that make this thing look like Spyro is the fact that it’s a small, purple dragon. It’s creepy looking, and just no.

Beyond the way he looks though, the game isn’t even a Spyro game. It’s just…not.

A true Spyro game would not make you spend extra money to add more characters in it. It would just kindly give them to you. A true Spyro game would have SPYRO be the main character that you have to play, not switch through different ones all the time. Sometimes, yes, but not always.

Now…the reason I just…don’t like it is mainly because they’re abusing it. They are abusing the fact that Spyro himself, is popular, people recognize him, and therefore will spend money on the game, simply because he’s in it.

What people don’t care to acknowledge, is THAT is not the Spyro you know and love. It is a sale out’s excuse for a Spyro, just so their game will sale.

Also, explain how this adorable little dragon:

Became this ugly, toad like excuse for a cute little dragon:

That is all.

I am not a hypocrite for liking the new DmC, and hating the new Spyro character. I am a fan that believes Spyro is being abused simply for profit.

Fairwell.

My brother just ran into my room, asked for a can of soda, grabbed one for him and I. Then placed the one for him in his armpit, squealed like a girl cus it was freezing, threw mine at me, then ran out of my room saying “Yeah, It’s time for me to go!!!!” *fleees*

My brother is a wonderful being sometimes.

My new icon is a perfect human being.

Why can’t I just sneeze like a normal human and not some crazy monster?!
